IMG_5424 2I don’t know where this practice has been all my life but I am so glad Jackie wrote about her word because I am now obsessed with the process of having a word to lead me in the new year.  I used Susannah Conway’s process to help me find my word even though I thought I had my word already.  (I wanted to make sure it was the perfect word for me.)  It was surprising that in Susannah’s process I had to do some writing and then circle words that stood out to me…some of those words are in the definition of my word.  Spooky!

I am a huge believer in setting intentions and finding ways to be positive every day, so this idea of having a word to focus on all year is right up my alley! I know without a doubt when I hit bumps in the road or when I am flying high, this word will remind me to keep working hard and stay humble.   In 2015, I want to grow my new business, The Twiggs Group, grow as a person and I want to focus on my health.  So without further ado, my word for 2015 is:

to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment. (synonyms: grow, thrive, prosper, do well)

Do you have a word for 2015?
